Administrative Staff

Penny McGarry - Practice Administrator

Penny began her career as a social worker, working primarily with children in foster care. She later became a registered nurse and worked in pediatrics for 17 years. During that time, she directed pediatric and adolescent outpatient services at a local hospital. She was instrumental in opening the first school-based health centers in Lowell. After spending several years as the director of a women's health center, Penny joined Greater Lowell Pediatrics as Administrator in 1997. Penny received her Bachelor of Arts at Northeastern University and her Masters Degree at Lesley College. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association. Her interests include reading, gardening, hiking, travel and spending time with family.
