Jennifer Bell, MD

Jennifer Bell, MD

Dr. Bell received her undergraduate degree and medical education at Brown University. She did her pediatric residency at the Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Rhode Island. Dr. Bell enjoys all areas of pediatric and adolescent care and has a particular interest in preventative medicine. Away from the office, her hobbies include travel and reading.

Dr. Bell works in our Lowell Office Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

Stephen A. Conway, MD

Stephen Conway, MD

Dr. Conway is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. He did his pediatric residency training at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Prior to joining Greater Lowell Pediatrics he worked as a primary care pediatrician in Rhode Island for five years. When not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Usual Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday in Lowell Office

 

Daniel W. Dubner, MD

Daniel W. Dubner, MD

In addition to managing a wide variety of pediatric problems, Dr. Dubner has special expertise in children with complex disabilities. He received his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania, and served his residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. He undertook further training in child development at the University of Washington, and completed a fellowship in Birth Defects at the Boston Floating Hospital.Dr. Dubner is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. He is co-author with Dr. Felch of “The Pediatrician’s Best Baby Planner for the First Year of Life.” Dr. Dubner is on staff at Lowell General Hospital and Saints Medical Center. He began his pediatric practice in 1978 and joined Greater Lowell Pediatrics in 1988 where he is a Managing Partner.

Away from the office, Dr. Dubner enjoys all aspects of family life with his wife and three children. His hobbies and interests include woodworking, running, reading, travel, and following Boston’s world champion sports teams.

Usual Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday in Lowell or Westford Office.

 

Mary Gealow, MD

Mary Gealow, MD

Parent and patient education receives strong emphasis in Dr. Gealow’s practice of general pediatrics. She received her undergraduate education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her medical degree from the Tufts University School of Medicine. She served her pediatric residency at the Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. 

Dr. Gealow is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, and a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society. Dr. Gealow is on staff at Lowell General Hospital and Saints Medical Center. She began practicing with Greater Lowell Pediatrics in January, 2000. Her greatest pleasure when away from the office is spending family time with her husband and two children.

Usual Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday in Lowell or Westford Office.

 

Jennifer M. O’Shea, MD

Jennifer O'Shea, MD

In addition to general pediatrics, Dr. O’Shea is especially interested in the care of premature infants. A graduate of Harvard University, she received her medical training at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. During her pediatric residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, she also worked in a private pediatric office in suburban Maryland. 

Dr. O’Shea is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. O’Shea is on staff at Lowell General Hospital. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and has been practicing with Greater Lowell Pediatrics since 1997, where she is a Managing Partner

Usual Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in Lowell or Westford Office.

 

Our Nurse Practitioners

Bridget Albert, NP

Bridget received her undergraduate degree at Boston College.  She has a master’s degree in Child Life and Family-Centered Care from Wheelock College and a master’s degree in Nursing from Regis College.  She is credentialed through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.  Bridget has experience working in primary care and most recently worked with the Pain Treatment Service at Boston Children’s Hospital.  Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, child development and chronic pain management.

Bridget lives locally with her husband, son and dog.  Outside of work she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Usual Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday in Lowell or Westford Office.

 

Anthony Curcuru, NP

Anthony received his undergraduate education from Boston University and his Master’s Degree from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. He is credentialed through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Most recently Anthony worked within the juvenile justice system providing primary care services and has a special interest in this population. He also has interests in sports medicine, adolescent and preventive healthcare.

Away from the office he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Anthony has many hobbies such as recreational sports, fishing, traveling and has begun learning furniture restoration.

Karen Farnum, NP

Karen Farnum, PNP

Karen received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Lowell and her Master’s and Doctorate Degrees at Northeastern University. She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a Fellow in the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She is a Lowell native and has worked as a RN in Pediatrics at the former St John’s Hospital, taught in the LPN Program at Greater Lowell Vocational Technical High School and in the RN/ADN Program at Northern Essex Community College. Most recently she was an Assistant Clinical Professor in the PNP Program at Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Karen has practiced in Greater Lowell and the North Shore areas as a PNP for over 20 years. She enjoys providing health care for children of all ages. Away from the Office, Karen enjoys spending her time with her husband, four children, daughters in law, son in law and her grandchildren.

Jacquelynne Leighton, NP

Jacquelynne received her Bachelor’s degree from UMass Amherst and her Master’s degree from Boston College. She is accredited through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Jacquelynne enjoys each and every aspect of primary care and has particular interests in adolescent medicine and preventative health. Away from the office Jacquelynne enjoys  curling up with a good book, following Boston sports, and spending time with friends and family.

Mark Wellman, NP

Mark Wellman, NP

Mark has Master’s degrees in Healthcare Administration from Boston University and in Pediatric Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. He has worked in nursing for over thirty years in various hospital and outpatient settings around Boston and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. His particular interests are Developmental and Behavioral pediatrics. Away from the office he enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons rock climbing, bicycling and golfing.

Our Behavioral Health Therapist

Marcie Graham, LICSW

Marcie Graham, LICSW

Marcie graduated Lesley University with a Bachelor’s in Art Therapy and holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Simmons College. Marcie is nationally recognized as a trained Child Parent Psychotherapist through the National Trauma Stress Network and Massachusetts Child Trauma Project. Marcie brings to the practice a vast range of experience within the child and adolescent behavioral health field. She has worked in early intervention programs, supported mothers in the post-partum period, guided young parents, and assisted children and teens with issues like depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Marcie’s areas of special interest include early childhood development, family therapy, post-partum support for mothers, and PTSD.

Marcie’s interests outside of the office include reading a good book, nature, and camping in the White Mountains.

Marcie is available for office visits through request by your doctor or nurse practitioner at GLP, Monday through Friday.
